Expression of Interest — Summer Exhibition at The Studio

This summer, The Studio invites artists, makers, and creatives to submit work for our upcoming group exhibition Coastal Currents – a celebration of the ebb and flow of life by the sea.

The Limestone Coast is shaped by water – from the rugged shoreline and sweeping bays to the hidden sinkholes, tidal pools, and shifting sands. Coastal Currents explores the beauty, power, and quiet rhythm of our coastal environment, as well as the unseen forces that move beneath the surface – in nature, in communities, and within ourselves.

We welcome submissions across select mediums – painting, photography, and digital art. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

Open to artists of photography, mixed media, painting & digital art mediums and experience levels.
All works must be ready to hang, with professional framing required.

Artworks will be available for purchase through The Studio’s website and in-gallery sales, with a 25% commission applied to any works sold.

Key Dates:

  • Submissions close: September 8th, 2025 at 5pm

  • Exhibition runs: December 6th, 2025 – January 31st, 2026

If your work is selected, a $40 exhibit fee will apply. This contributes to our exhibition launch night, helping us create an inspiring and memorable event to celebrate your art.

Please note: Space is limited, and we will be selecting up to 15 works for the exhibition. We encourage you to submit your work early for consideration.

How to apply

Please submit:

  1. Your name and contact details.

  2. A short artist bio (max 150 words).

  3. Up to 5 high-quality images of your work, with titles, dimensions, and medium (or if your work isn’t yet completed, please send through examples of your previous work)

  4. Pricing of your work (if unsure, just give a rough estimate)

  5. A short description (max 100 words) of how your work connects to the Coastal Currents theme and what you’re looking to create for the exhibition.
