Shadows and Stillness explores the quiet tension between light and dark, movement and pause. Through a series of still, composed images, Kristyn Jones captures the subtle beauty of ordinary moments in the natural world — a fallen branch, a shadow stretching across dry ground, the last light of the day.

This body of work invites a slower gaze. With each photograph, Kristyn offers space for reflection — a chance to notice the details that often go unseen. Her lens holds the landscape with gentleness, finding a quiet strength in its raw, unguarded state.

Minimal, emotive, and grounded in place, Shadows and Stillness asks us to consider what happens when we stop to listen. To notice the in-between.

Shadows and Stillness will be on display at The Studio for six weeks.
Open during Studio hours: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:30am – 12:30pm
Or by private appointment.
