Elsewhere
Places Held in Colour
by Pippin Ellis
Elsewhere – Places Held in Colour is a new exhibition by Pippin Ellis inspired by travels through Morocco, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Drawing on moments gathered along the way, Ellis explores the colours, textures, architecture and everyday encounters that shape our experience of place. Rather than depicting destinations as they are, these works capture how they are remembered — layered with emotion, curiosity and connection.
Through expressive mark-making, rich colour and thoughtful composition, Elsewhere invites viewers to reflect on the places that stay with us, and the ways travel can reshape how we see the world and ourselves.
