I chose this image for Coastal Currents because I've watched the Obelisk for many years, standing defiantly on the edge as the coastline shifts beneath it. Although this photograph was taken some time ago, its story feels even more urgent now.
Perched on a weathered cliff, the red and white Obelisk stands against a restless sea - a sentinel watching the shifting dance of wind and water. Beneath it, powerful waves carve and reclaim the land, each surge a reminder of the constant motion shaping our coastline.
